The Cutest Low-Carb Bunny Truffles

Ingredients

  • Real Phat Foods Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips of choice*
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • white, pink and black writing gel or icing pens

Directions

  1. Using a small cookie dough scoop, scoop 12 balls of cookie dough and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in freezer for 10-15 minutes.

  2. While dough is hardening, prepare the melted chocolate. Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe dish. Heat in intervals of 30 seconds, stirring in-between, until fully melted and smooth.

  3. Once dough balls are fully hardened, remove from the freezer (you will need to work quickly or take out only 1/2 a batch at a time). Using a toothpick or long wooden skewer, twirl in melted chocolate mixture until fully coated. Lay back on parchment paper and repeat until all dough balls are fully coated with white chocolate.

  4. Return coated truffles to the freezer for 5-10 minutes to harden for next step.

  5. Once hardened, remove one truffle at a time, keeping the remaining truffles in the freezer. This is where you get to be creative and draw your bunny face with your decorating pens. We started with the eyes and mouth, then added the nose, cheeks, and ears.

  6. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Enjoy!
