School's out for summer!!
Which means the kiddos are thrilled, and us moms everywhere are scrambling to figure out how the heck we’re going to juggle it all the next two months! 🤪
But we always manage, don’t we? 😀
One of the best ways to keep ourselves - and our kiddos - sane is making sure we’re eating foods that nourish and sustain us for those fun, but long summer days. But, how do we keep our families well fed when we’re constantly on the go?
Us moms know the answer has got to be simple. Between work, laundry, birthday invites and endless activities it’s time we get back to basics with these simple summer snacks that are healthy and nutritious, but most important: the kids will find delicious.
- S’mores - Sweet Cinnamon Crunch crackers, naturally sweetened chocolate bars like Lily’s, and marshmallows (we prefer Max Mallow for a no sugar option!).
- PB + Cheddar Sandwiches - Remember these from our childhood days?! Well they just got a major upgrade that both you and your kids will love. Just spread natural, no sugar peanut butter in between 2 of our clean keto Cheddar Almond Flour Crackers. That’s it. You’re welcome ☺️
- Snack packs - We love the bento box. Simply throw in fresh fruit, protein of choice (we love turkey roll ups, or sliced hard boiled egg), raw veggies, cheese or dip, and crackers of course. Perfect for those long days away from home, or on the road.
- Cereal - This is reminiscent of a favorite childhood cereal … just without all the junk! Take a bag of Sweet Cinnamon Crunch low carb crackers, crunch them up, pour in bowl and top with your favorite milk. You’ll be fighting the kids over this one.
We’ve always got a bag of crackers at the ready in the car, or bag, in case hunger strikes. Happy Summertime, friends!
